Vasey RSL Care has a proud tradition of supporting veterans and war widows since the end of World War I. Around 80% of our residents in our residential homes have an ex-service background. I writing to you to extend an invitation to anyone in your parish who might like to consider taking up a volunteering role with our organisation. We have some new programs being developed for our residents, and some activities the applicant you may be engaged in include but not limited to walks, Russian film and music appreciation, cultural customs, letter writing, looking at family photos, reminiscing etc.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to support our Lifestyle program at our modern, well-equipped Vasey RSL Care Brighton East. As a Vasey RSL Care volunteer, you too will enjoy the camaraderie and pride we feel by participating in social discussion, outings, events, craft activities or religious activities with our residents. If you have a few hours you could give, or a skill or talent that you think may benefit our residents’ Lifestyle program, we would love to hear from you. Our aim is to increase programs of interest and social experiences for our residents, and we would love to welcome you to our team of highly committed volunteers.
