TennisChamp significantly differs from the majority Australian tennis academies and clubs.
Tennis is one of the most complicated types of sport that requires a high level of coordination and includes many technical elements. Every single movement that was learnt usually can be remembered for the rest of the life – that is why the importance of teaching correct technical elements from the very first second on the court cannot be overestimated. Muscles memory cannot be controlled by our consciousness. Therefore, incorrect movement will likely bring lots of troubles in the future, such as spending months to learn right one. That is why TennisChamp focuses on professional technique, effective movements, physical and thinking skills and ability to control emotions during a tennis match. All these skills might be and should be learnt from the beginning.
Unlike other tennis clubs we focus on results and the quality of coaching in spite of future plans of our students. It is true that at the beginning children and their parents may not think about professional path, but later they may change their minds. Therefore, we should build fundamental professional skills for everyone in order to open the world of professional tennis.
We set up targets and motivate our student to reach them. We build their confidence and teach them that even defeat is good experience to learn from. As a result, it leads to many confident victories on tennis courts and their lives in the future. We appreciate their effort, talents, motivate them to work hard and help open their potential.
The learning environment is also different. We demand certain level of concentration and discipline, commitment, focus and work. At the same time we know that children learn the best if they are interested and having fun, so our program also includes special learning exercises that children usually happy to perform.
We teach our students to love tennis, be active, respect rivals, control their body and mind, work in order to get the target and think.
Finally, Russian students are taught by native speaker Russian tennis coach that helps children to improve and maintain their mother tongue.
