Hello, my name is Nicholas Lee and I am conducting research for my PhD at the University of Southern Queensland. I am fascinated by the different ways that Russian migrants have adapted to life here and would welcome volunteers from around Australia to share their perspectives. The Russians in Australia that I have already spoken with enjoyed the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and compare them with others. If you volunteer, you will have a full written transcript of our (Zoom or Skype) conversations and will gain the satisfaction that your insights may help future migrants as they settle into life in Australia.
I have spent some time in Russia myself (I have attached some photos) and I have a deep and enduring interest in Russian culture and literature. I have also attached a flyer which gives further information.
